Canadian Cloud Hosting Now Offering IPv6 Addresses To Customers
The addresses are for customers of the company’s Vancouver, BC, and Toronto, ON, data centers.
Canadian Cloud Hosting has announced the general availability of IPv6 addresses for SSD Cloud Servers and Canadian Cloud servers located in their two Vancouver, BC data centres and two Toronto, ON data centres. These enhanced IPs are available to any business or organization looking to future proof their cloud infrastructure.
Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), the most recent version of Internet Protocols (IPs), was developed in response to IPv4 address exhaustion. With the intention of replacing IPv4, IPv6 uses a 128-bit address and allowing much more addresses than what is currently available with IPv4.
