Cloudnexa has announced the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent 13/110,595 for the company’s exclusive technology related to managing computational services in a cloud computing environment.

Cloudnexa, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Consulting Partner, delivers scalable, secure cloud infrastructures across public and government clouds. The company’s unique cloud management platform, vNOC, provides AWS customers with tools to automate and manage all of their AWS accounts. Cloudnexa’s new patent relates to a proprietary system and method that it has developed for managing third-party cloud computing environments with a single common web interface, focused on security, compliance and governance.

With Cloudnexa’s exclusive technology, users can create and manage a trusted cloud computing environment containing a virtual network, instances, and storage via workflows and governing policies, all while securing user access and encrypted keys via a separate store.

“More organizations are looking for a consolidated governing body over the management of their cloud provider, via customizable workflows,” said Josh Resnick, vice president of engineering for Cloudnexa. “Our platform provides clients that real value add, and also offers encryption key management functionality that is ideal for meeting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) compliance requirements,” said Resnick.

Cloudnexa is a Premier Consulting Partner in the AWS Partner Network (APN) and authorized reseller for AWS, offers Cloud Management-as-a-Service and its vNOC cloud management platform to clients wanting to use the AWS Cloud, including AWS GovCloud (U.S.) Region.
