nGenx has announced the appointment of Toby vanRoojen as the company’s director of strategic accounts. With nearly a decade of experience in working with leading MSPs while at Kaseya, vanRoojen brings years of experience in the management and growth of key accounts. Under his coaching and oversight, he will play an important role in helping partners meet their revenue objectives as market demand for Workspace as a Service (WaaS) continues to grow.

According to IDC, the hosted WaaS market will grow from $282 million in 2013 to $1.7 billion in 2018, representing a five-year CAGR of 42.5%.  This presents a high growth opportunity for MSPs interested in expanding their service portfolios in a high margin technology segment. The nGenx nFinity® nWorkspace™ platform offers a complete white label solution capable of scaling from small businesses to the enterprise. The production proven technology is deployed globally and offers technology buyers greater security and productivity gains at a lower cost than traditional IT.1

Since joining Kaseya in 2007, vanRoojen has worked with MSPs to increase their success in the industry. He first began as a partner development representative in 2007, managing partner accounts and supporting new business initiatives. In 2011, he became territory manager for Kaseya and worked with partners to expand business lines. In 2009, he served as an account manager where he supported as many as 700 MSPs and IT departments, helping to retain and grow existing customer accounts for the company. In his role at nGenx, he will build upon that experience by providing training, content, tools, and guidance to select nGenx accounts in order to drive further adoption of nFinity nWorkspace.

“Business computing clients today want their applications and data delivered to them in a way that provides an excellent user experience,” said vanRoojen. “nFinity nWorkspace helps partners provide cloud workspaces with many more advantages than on-premise solutions. This includes the ability to provide complete desktops with applications and data on any device, anywhere. This also avoids many of the issues of traditional desktops related to security concerns, data protection, remote access, and costs. I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to helping partners capitalize on the revenue potential available in this market.”

nGenx simplifies the process of cloud-enabling applications and desktops without the need to redevelop existing software solutions. This gives managed service providers and software developers unprecedented access to markets and customers previously out of reach. nGenx delivers an integrated online experience that empowers business applications with a greater number of access points using a full-featured Microsoft Windows desktop. Leveraging this technology, users benefit from fingertip access to IT resources, anywhere, anytime, and from any device.

“Toby’s professionalism and proven track record in the managed services space will be a welcome asset to nGenx,” said Max Pruger, chief sales officer for nGenx. “MSPs are a key growth channel for our organization, and he has demonstrated talents that will further our efforts in this area. With the market trending toward WaaS and the nGenx solution ideal for partners looking to enter this arena, now is the ideal time for Toby to join our team.”
