Projectplace Named In Top 10 Of World’s Fastest Growing Cloud Services
Users on Projectplace grew by 58% during Q4 2014.
Skyhigh has recognized Projectplace, a part of Planview, as one of the top 10 fastest growing cloud services in the world. The ranking is based on anonymized usage data covering more than 15 million users globally across 10,000 cloud services. The data from Skyhigh’s user base shows that the number of active users on Projectplace grew by 58% during Q4 2014.
“The fact that they also earned Skyhigh’s highest CloudTrust Rating of Enterprise-Ready demonstrates that companies can deliver user-centric features while simultaneously addressing security.”
“Every business strives to make the most out of its resources to achieve its goals,” said Greg Gilmore, CEO of Planview. “More and more customers are discovering that Projectplace can help them realize the resource potential of their team or organization by enabling smarter, goal-driven project management and collaboration. This recognition from Skyhigh is validation that our unique approach to project collaboration fulfills the needs of today’s fast-moving, geographically dispersed teams and companies.”
Launched in 1998, Projectplace pioneered cloud-based collaboration by eliminating the hurdles of document management in the early days of the Internet. Since then, the product has evolved into a powerful project collaboration platform, built around how people work and protected by military-grade security.
Today, Projectplace is the only product that combines project management and task visualization with document sharing and collaboration for virtual project teams. The Planview product line enables everyone from small teams to large enterprises – no matter how they work – to be more innovative, provide higher levels of service, and improve performance by optimizing their resource capacity through portfolio, resource, and work management.
Skyhigh has previously rated Projectplace’s platform as “Enterprise-Ready.” It is the highest rating possible awarded to cloud services that satisfy the most stringent requirements for cloud security: data protection, identity verification, service security, business practices, and legal protection.
“Skyhigh’s cloud usage analysis across our 15 million enterprise users reveals that Projectplace is one of the fastest growing cloud companies today,” said Brandon Cook, director of product marketing at Skyhigh Networks. "The fact that they also earned Skyhigh’s highest CloudTrust Rating of Enterprise-Ready demonstrates that companies can deliver user-centric features while simultaneously addressing security.”
