BICSI is pleased to announce the conclusion of a full-day meeting held in Tampa by key association leaders to share global best practices and opportunities.

The goal of the meeting was the candid and detailed exchange of information between global subject matter experts. The sharing of experiences and information can result in better serving BICSI’s members, credential holders, and students. Topics included global opportunities and best practices in membership building, credentialing, standards, and professional development.

In attendance were the CEOs of such major associations as The Society of Petroleum Engineers, AVIXA (formerly InfoComm), The National Association of Corrosion Engineers, The International Society of Automation, The Society of Critical Care Medicine, and The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

The meeting was hosted by BICSI and BICSI CEO John D. Clark, Jr., chairman of the Key Global Association Committee for ASAE. “I have great respect my colleagues on the Key Global Association Committee,” said Clark. “We CEOs have much to learn from peers in the global arena. This group is generous and candid in sharing knowledge, with a real esprit de corps. We are very glad they traveled to Tampa!”
