Vertiv, formerly Emerson Network Power, has introduced a quick configure and delivery option for the Liebert® EXM UPS system, making it possible to add 10 to 40 kVA of UPS capacity anywhere in the continental U.S. within four days. The units are highly configurable and address the market’s increasing need for robust computing at the network edge.

The flexibility of the Liebert EXM quick configure and delivery program extends beyond power capacity. Selections are provided for the output voltage and battery run time to tailor the configuration to a customer’s needs. And in a nod to the increasing criticality across the network, these systems offer a maintenance bypass, allowing service and maintenance to be performed without interruption.

“Today’s network edge is far more than a server in an IT closet,” said Chris Molls, director of AC power sales in North America for Vertiv. “Whether it’s a bank branch or a doctor’s office or any other critical edge environment, they all require robust IT solutions and infrastructure h and they need them quickly. With the Liebert EXM quick configure and delivery bundle, we can deliver enterprise-quality power protection in a matter of days, either directly to the customer or through our channel and electrical partners.”

The Liebert EXM quick configure and delivery bundle also can be configured for 480V operation by adding a transformer in the 30-40 kVA units. The system’s flexibility extends to service plans as well, with packages that include startup and several other options designed to meet the needs of any location or application for fast and simple power deployments.
