Mitsubishi Electric’s direct view NPP LEDs are specifically engineered to address demanding command and control environments by delivering stunning visuals with innovative features and unbeatable durability and reliability.

Designed and built to meet the highest standards demanded by command and control applications.

What is the Narrow Pixel Pitch LED? By definition, pixel pitch is the distance from the center of an LED cluster (or pixel) to the center of the next LED cluster/pixel. Our 1.5mm narrow pixel pitch LED (NPP-LED) is an indoor-exclusive high-definition LED display with a smaller pixel size and pixel pitch (interval) than most conventional indoor/outdoor LED displays. This allows for creating seamless display walls with a wide viewing angle in large installations.

Anti-Burn In Feature

The light output of individual LEDs reduce gradually over time, which can eventually cause unacceptable variations in luminance and chromaticity where static graphics are displayed for long periods of time. Anti-Burn in feature extends the operational lifetime. The light output of individual LEDs reduce gradually over time, which can eventually cause unacceptable variations in luminance and chromaticity where static graphics are displayed for long periods of time. The VS-15NP160’s patented Anti-Burn in feature prevents this, keeping the screen performing perfectly during its lifespan.

Signal Redundancy

Single Signal – In case of a failure of a specific LED unit, with single signal configuration next units of failure unit cannot display images.

Redundant Signal – With redundant signal, other units except the failing unit can still display images continuously due to dual signal input.

Power Redundancy

The power supply features an independent, redundant, power module that can be stored either underneath the LED screen or in a climate controlled server room. *N+1 power unit will continue the operation in case of any power failure.

*(Optional: N+1 Power Unit Available)

Intelligent Power Control

Common to Narrow Pixel Pitch LED technology, power consumption is determined by image content. A patented built-in dynamic power consumption management feature constantly monitors image brightness. It adjusts LED light output automatically for the most cost efficient *power consumption and operator comfort.

*This power consumption feature can limit “actual” power consumption, but is not able to change power consumption described in the product specification.
