Caterpillar Inc. has expanded its Cat® Rental Power product line with the introduction of the XQP100, a 50/60 Hz mobile diesel generator set. The new XQP generator set is available in two configurations including EU Stage IIIA emission standards or low fuel consumption performance for customers in non-regulated territories.
This release will be available in the first quarter of 2017. Rated for 50/60 Hz prime operation at 100 kVA (Stage IIIA) or 100 kVA (low fuel consumption) with 10% overload capacity, the XQP100 will complement the current Cat XQE mobile offering from 20 kVA to 60 kVA and augment the XQP 150-500kVA.
Equipped with the sophisticated Cat® Connect platform, the new Cat XQP100 mobile generator set combines equipment, technology and services to build customer success. Cat Connect allows the dealer to remotely monitor all assets through easy-to-use analysis tools, which evaluates run hours and fuel consumption to keep utilization consistent across the fleet and better manage maintenance overhaul intervals. The timely information allows customers to control costs, improve performance and reduce risks.
In addition to advanced telematics, each Cat XQP100 mobile generator set features the EMCP 4.2B control panel, which includes power metering, protective relaying and engine and generator control and monitoring. Integration of the generator voltage regulator and EMCP 4.2B increases responsiveness and performance in all applications.
With a robust, rental-ready construction, like all generator sets in the XQP product line, the XQP100 is designed to be safely and efficiently transported around project sites. The heavy-duty fuel tank base with integrated fork lift pockets allow the unit to be dragged and lifted with ease. Clipsal or CEE socket options are available to reduce installation time and provide trouble-free power distribution.
All Cat XQP mobile generator sets are available through the Cat dealer network. Cat dealers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist with emergency rental needs.
