ColoGuard Enterprise Solutions, LLC (ColocationGuard) has announced that Hibernia Networks, a leading provider of global telecommunications services, has launched a new Point of Presence (PoP) at the company’s flagship data center: CGNY1.

The addition of Hibernia Networks provides ColocationGuard’s customers with immediate access to a global network that spans 25 countries and connects to more than 220 PoPs. Additionally, companies housed within the data center can now utilize the lowest latency transatlantic network, as well as a comprehensive portfolio of connectivity solutions, to transport mission critical data efficiently and securely.

“We are delighted to expand our footprint in New York and offer customers connecting through ColocationGuard’s Brooklyn facility access to our robust IP backbone as well as the industry’s lowest latency transatlantic network platform,” states Joe Hilt, vice president sales, Americas at Hibernia Networks. “Our connectivity solutions suite provides the additional advantage of route diversity, helping ensure the resiliency and security customers seek from Hibernia Networks.”

ColocationGuard’s carrier-neutral data center contains more than 50,000 sq ft of available space and possesses the features that today’s enterprise customers have come to expect, including a high-density server environment with a fully redundant power architecture. The SSAE16 Certified facility is outfitted with a multi-stage security system, including integrated CCTV, biometrics, and a 24/7/365 on-site monitoring staff. All power equipment is built with N+2 redundancy in case of component failure and the building draws power from two independent power grids, backed by three diesel generators with 12,000 gallons (1 full week) of reserve fuel.

“The addition of Hibernia Networks to ColocationGuard’s premier Brooklyn data center provides significant and long-lasting benefits to our customers,” said Ruben Magurdumov, COO of ColoGuard Enterprise Solutions, LLC. “Demand for fast, secure and cost-effective IP transit service continues to rise. This partnership with Hibernia Networks provides a variety of businesses with what they need most: a valuable new option for global IP transit service with low latency that seamlessly connects with North America, Europe, and the rest of the world.”
