FORTRUST has announced their selection of E1 DYNAMICS, a division of Euro Diesel, to supply custom Diesel Rotary Uninterruptible Power Supply (DRUPS) units for FORTRUST’s next data center expansion in the upcoming year.  DRUPS are more efficient, reliable, have a longer-life cycle and take up less space than traditional static UPS and Batteries, providing more expansion capabilities within the data center.

“We have seen increased customer demand for premium colocation data center services,” says Robert D. McClary, COO at FORTRUST. “As a result, we remain committed to continuing to innovate in the data center space to provide enhanced reliability while creating efficiency. The addition of the DRUPS will allow us to serve the growing high density needs of our customers and to do that in a more efficient manner.”

“Our investment in DRUPS is part of our mission to innovate and create efficiencies in the data center industry,” says Bryon Miller, chief data center officer at FORTRUST. “We’re committed to being a leader in the data center space.”

Based in Denver, Colorado, FORTRUST conducted a significant amount of due diligence leading to the decision to incorporate the benefits and advantages offered with DRUPS Technology. The DRUPS technology is being used in data centers and other mission critical environments around the world with outstanding reliability, efficiency and ease of operation. FORTRUST has signed a Letter of Intent to order two NO-BREAK KS® DRUPS from E1 DYNAMICS, and is looking to utilize this partnership and these technical advantages over traditional battery based UPS systems in its ongoing expansion of the FORTRUST Denver, CO data center.
