HIPOWER SYSTEMS has announced it has hired Josh Mosko to the position of VP of sales and marketing, portable power. In that capacity, Mosko will develop sales and marketing strategies, nurture business opportunities, research opportunities and target markets, identify and generate leads for the sales team, and foster strong, productive business relationships with company prospects and customers as well as partners, vendors, and distributors.

“Josh is an accomplished generator sales and marketing professional with the perfect combination of knowledge and experience for this position,” said HIPOWER SYSTEMS president Rafael Acosta. “We are very pleased to welcome him to the HIPOWER SYSTEMS family.” 

Mosko will play a key management support role for the HIPOWER SYSTEMS sales departments, directing and coordinating company sales and marketing functions and helping staff seize and fulfill the potential of business opportunities and then move customers through the sales pipeline.

Before joining HIPOWER SYSTEMS, Mosko worked as VP of Global Operations & Fleet for the specialized equipment division of Red-D-Arc. Prior to his tenure at Red-D-Arc, Mosko was global director of the Energy Services Division for Hertz Corp.

Mosko began his career with Olive Electric Supply as an inside sales professional in 1989, then worked in progressively more responsible positions, including territory sales manager for United Rentals, Inc. and sales engineer for Kohler distributor Kinsley Power Systems, before accepting the position at Hertz.

In 2013, Mosko was an award recipient of Hertz Corp’s Global Leadership Award, being selected from a field of 42,000 candidates. He also helped Kinsley win the Kohler Distributor of the Year award in 2006. Mosko graduated from Albertus Magnus College in 2003 with a Master of Business Administration after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant College in 1997.
