INTERXION HOLDING NV has announced that it has been selected by Rubicon Project, which operates one of the largest advertising marketplaces in the world, as its data centre provider for the European market.

Rubicon Project first chose Interxion’s Frankfurt facility in 2014 to provide a second platform for disaster recovery in Europe to ensure redundancy for its European clients. The success of this initial partnership, particularly Interxion’s ability to understand their unique business needs, has driven Rubicon Project’s decision to migrate its entire European production infrastructure to Interxion’s Amsterdam data centre campus.

With this new partnership, Interxion will host Rubicon Project’s Advertising Automation Cloud, which brings brands, content creators and application developers closer together to buy, sell, and trade via Rubicon Project’s robust advertising technology. As one of the largest cloud and big data computing systems in the world, the Rubicon Project platform leverages over 50,000 algorithms and analyses billions of data points in real time, serving approximately 1 billion customers globally, 12 trillion bid requests per month and 300 data-driven decisions per transaction in milliseconds.
