Looking to fill a key position to address a rapidly expanding global market, Fike has promoted David Kemp to executive vice president of global sales and marketing, effective immediately. In this role, Kemp will head sales and marketing efforts for all Fike product lines worldwide. Fike uses a global network of professional distributors and representatives to provide fire and explosion protection as well as pressure relief and pressure activation solutions to industries including chemical/refining, data centers, bulk solids, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and oil and gas.

Kemp, who previously served as Fike's executive director of sales for the Americas, will now manage a global sales and distribution network focused on expanding market share with current customers as well as building business in underserved industries.

"There's a lot of opportunity for growth using the market intelligence we're gathering and applying that to our sales strategy," said Kemp.  "We have a great lineup of expertly manufactured safety solutions.  The key is helping the customer see we have what they need and making Fike easy to do business with."

"Alignment of our global sales and marketing strategy is important to our success," said Brad Batz, president. "David has the knowledge and experience to pull it all together effectively.  We've already seen his ability to positively transform business as head of sales for the America's.  We are confident he will excel in this role as well."

Before coming to Fike, Kemp held various sales-related roles for 25 years. He was most recently the vice president of sales and global marketing for Emerson.
