Critical Facilities Summit, the only event focused exclusively on the design, construction and management of mission critical facilities, has announced open registration for the 2016 conference. For the fourth year running, Critical Facilities Summit welcomes facilities managers, engineers, and design/build professionals. This year’s conference features a new track focusing on the executive management of mission critical facilities, data centers and laboratories.

Held October 3-5, 2016 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina, the Summit examines data center and mission critical issues from the Facility Management and design/build perspectives. This year’s conference features a track that focuses specifically on what's driving the development of critical facilities, titled “Executive Briefing.” Designed for executives, this track will explore crucial considerations, expectations, and upper-level management of data centers and critical facilities though sessions such as “Corner-Office Considerations for Data Center Enterprise Strategies” and “Rectifying Chronic Lapses in Critical Facility Operations.”

The event offers several additional tracks for attendees to choose from, including:

  • Design/Build/Manage
  • Critical Trends & Innovations
  • Energy & Power
  • In Case of Emergency
  • Project Spotlights

“Our experience in the industry and engagement with active professionals has driven the focus of this year’s Critical Facilities Summit,” said Wendy Dietzler, vice president of education for the Summit. “The educational elements of Critical Facilities form the purpose of our conference and we developed this year’s tracks to reflect the interest of data center, healthcare, and laboratory professionals in advancing their knowledge about the management and operations of these critical spaces.”
