Mestex Achieves ISO 14001-2015 Certification
ISO 14001-2015 certification requires an organization to demonstrate that their systems meet the very latest in global best practices for environmental management.
Mestex, an HVAC manufacturer for industrial and other commercial applications, has announced it has achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001-2015 certification for environmental management systems.
ISO 14001-2015 certification requires an organization to demonstrate that their systems meet the very latest in global best practices for environmental management. To attain the ISO 14001-2015 certification, an organization must exhibit its commitment to sustainability and the environment by applying a management system that allows for continual improvement and the ability to conform to customer, statutory and regulatory environmental requirements.
According to Mike Kaler, president of Mestex, “Our ISO 14001 certification illustrates to customers, prospects and employees the commitment to excellence and sustainability that Mestex embodies. This ISO certification ensures that Mestex provides high quality, mission critical HVAC systems that meet the unique needs of each of the industries we serve while keeping our environmental responsibilities firmly in mind.”
“To Mestex, this certification provides a visible and constant reminder, internally and externally, of the importance of operating in a manner that recognizes our social responsibility to minimize our environmental footprint,” Kaler continued. “We are very proud of this achievement.”
