Infomart Data Centers has announced the appointment of Paul Vaccaro as senior vice president of operations and engineering. Based in Hillsboro, OR, Vaccaro oversees the design, delivery and management of the company’s entire mission-critical infrastructure as well as the engineering, operations and security staff at company locations. Infomart’s four properties in Dallas, Portland, Silicon Valley, and Ashburn consist of over 2.2 million square feet and are home to some of world’s most respected and important IT operations. The combined critical load for company and tenant IT operations across the portfolio exceeds 100 megawatts.

Vaccaro has over 20 years of technical leadership experience in enterprise IT functions including data center and facilities operations, IT applications and systems, infrastructure management, and best practices for operational efficiency and design. Prior to Infomart, he held numerous senior leadership roles at Intel Corporation, including several global data center leadership positions. In these roles, Vaccaro was responsible for all aspects of global data center operations, capacity planning, data center manageability, sales and marketing support, engineering and strategic programs, and more. He is the co-author of several Intel IT technical publications on the topics of data center efficiency and retrofit, power density and data center infrastructure management (DCIM). A highly regarded industry thought-leader, Mr. Vaccaro is also a regular speaker at the 7×24 Exchange National Conference as well as a founding member of the board of directors of the 7×24 Mission Critical Exchange International – Portland Chapter.
