Riello UPS recently received the Frost and Sullivan Award for New Product Innovation, continuing Riello UPS’ legacy of innovation in the data center UPS solutions market. The Multi Power (MPW) module, designed to protect critical high-density computers and IT environments, was cited by the awards committee for superior flexibility and performance. This honor represents the second award given to Riello UPS by Frost and Sullivan in three years, after winning the Award for Growth Excellence Leadership in 2014.
With rising energy bills, environmental constrains, and increases in power density, energy saving is a key challenge for UPS users. Riello UPS saw the need for improving power usage effectiveness (PUE) while being flexible enough to cope with constantly evolving needs.
“Riello UPS has done a remarkably good job of understanding customer needs in the UPS industry and developing an innovative new product to address those needs. Its multi-power (MPW) UPS is uniquely positioned for sustained success because it addresses the core issues that customers care about — flexibility, functionality and ROI,” said Frost & Sullivan’s Global president and managing partner Krishna Srinivasan.
Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has developed an innovative element in a product by leveraging leading-edge technologies. The award recognizes the value-added features/benefits of the product and the increased ROI it offers customers, which, in turn, improves customer acquisition and overall market penetration potential. Ed Kwiatkowski, business development manager for Riello UPS, accepted the award at the gala in San Diego.
