Universal Electric Corporation Completes Building Expansion Project
STARLINE Manufacturer expands headquarters to accommodate present and future company growth.
Universal Electric Corporation (UEC) has completed its building expansion project, approximately doubling the size of its Canonsburg-based headquarters.
“When UEC moved into its new building in 2007, we never anticipated the need to drastically expand the facility just a short time later,” said Chris Myer, building expansion project manager. “This project involved a total addition of 82,000 sq ft, of which 57,000 went toward new production space. Today our building sits at approximately 171,000 sq ft, and I’m confident that we now have adequate space to operate efficiently while also being prepared for future company growth.”
