EnerSys® and its subsidiary Purcell® Systems have introduced their new line of modular, thermally managed VaultFlex™ enclosures.
Available with the industry’s widest selection of heating and cooling options, the new enclosures provide a secure, thermally managed environment for backup battery systems that ensures the most efficient thermal management solution with the lowest energy consumption.
VaultFlex™ enclosures are offered in a range of sizes to accommodate a wide variety of battery back-up requirements.
The VaultFlex™ line of enclosures includes:
- VaultFlex™ Dual Bay Battery Cabinet: Measures 65-in.W x 34-in.D x 75-in.H and supports up to ten 12V battery strings or two 2V battery strings in -48V configuration
- VaultFlex™ Single Bay Two-Tier Cabinet: Measures 30-in.W x 29-in.D x 32-in.H and supports up to two 12V battery strings in -48V configuration
- VaultFlex™ Single Bay Three-Tier Cabinet: Measures 30-in.W x 29-in.D x 46-in.H and supports up to three 12V battery strings in -48V configuration
- VaultFlex™ Single Bay Four-Tier Cabinet: Measures 30-in.W x 29-in.D x 60-in.H and supports up to four 12V battery strings in -48V configuration
The new enclosures are available with DC air conditioning, direct air cooling (DAC) and zoned cooling with an optional heater.
