Global Capacity Continues One Marketplace™ National Network Expansion
San Francisco Fiber Ring Rounds out aggressive multi-metro network expansion that addresses need for simple access to internet, application, and cloud services.
Global Capacity has announced the expansion of its OneMarketplaceTM with a diverse route, 72-mile fiber ring in San Francisco — its latest metro fiber ring providing connectivity services. In the last eight months, Global Capacity has lit over 210 miles of fiber across seven major metropolitan areas, including Dallas, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and now San Francisco. Global Capacity provides customers in each local market a portfolio of data connectivity services to support today's Internet, video, voice and Cloud applications that demand flexible, scalable and secure connectivity.
“Global Capacity is aggressively investing in building out metro fiber in several key markets precisely because there is high customer demand for our services in those locations,” shared Patrick Hannon, chief revenue officer of Global Capacity. “Expanding our network presence allows Global Capacity to offer services that enable our customers’ solutions - voice, data and the Cloud — at any speed from 1 Mbps to 10 Gbps.”
