QTS Realty Trust has announced that it has substantially completed the integration of Carpathia Hosting operations and that all data center, managed hosting, and cloud services are now provided by a single company under the QTS name. The completion of this process positions QTS as a leading hybrid technology provider with 24 data centers on three continents.
“With the substantial completion of the integration process, our over 700 employees have created a bigger, better, stronger QTS,” said Chad Williams, chief executive officer, QTS. “QTS is uniquely poised to deliver world-class infrastructure with value added technology services to our over 1,000 customers.”
Since acquiring Carpathia in June 2015, QTS merged the organization’s resources and cultures into its existing operational structure, identifying efficiencies and streamlining duplication. The successful QTS 3C integrated technology platform of custom data center (C1), colocation (C2), and cloud and managed services (C3) is now further strengthened by being able to provide hybrid IT solutions with the security, compliance and scalability for which QTS is known. The company will continue serving enterprise and government customers – but now on an international basis.
“Our current customers will continue to benefit from our expanded product and services offerings, while receiving the same premium customer experience they have come to expect from QTS and the former Carpathia,” Williams continued. “We look forward to building on our legacy of success and positioning QTS to meet the ever changing and complex IT needs of businesses today and tomorrow.”
QTS will leverage its strong, diverse team to enable its Powered by People slogan and provide the technology and infrastructure expertise and support customers require.
