Transient Detection System from Emerson Network Power
The system is designed to protect and monitor critical power.
Emerson Network Power’s Transient Detection System combines the industry’s premier surge protection technology with a state-of-the-art, web-based power quality monitor.
The new Emerson Transient Detection System allows users to monitor and track system anomalies such as transients, surges, swells, VTHDs, and features multiple alarm thresholds, including nine preset triggered alarm conditions and the capability for user-modified thresholds. Additionally, the product's monitor measures and records the magnitude and duration of transient events, then dates and time stamps the data for detailed event logging. A multi-port serial and Ethernet connection, and an embedded webpage enable remote or on-site access of all information 24/7.
Surge events can put a facility at risk; understanding the severity, type and timing of an abnormal power quality event enables users to better analyze trends and more effectively manage a facility’s power quality health.
