Rosendin Electric has announced the promotion of Jeffrey Dorf to director of corporate marketing. In this role, Jeffrey will focus on aligning marketing plans with business strategies, maximizing marketing effectiveness and efficiency by coordinating best practices throughout the organization, and developing winning strategies to expand penetration in key markets. For the last three years, Jeffrey has worked as preconstruction manager for Rosendin Electric’s Southwest Operations, and supported the company’s national Mission Critical practice.
“In just a few years, Jeffrey has distinguished himself with his enthusiasm and expertise in marketing and business development,” said Larry Hollis, vice president of Rosendin Electric. “By promoting him to director of corporate marketing we will be able to expand his role and take advantage of his marketing expertise throughout our entire national enterprise.”
Jeffrey has worked in the construction industry for nearly 25 years. Starting as a laborer, he worked as a concrete forms carpenter and ironworker in New York before earning his BSCE from Penn State University. He also earned an MBA in Operations and Marketing from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He was named Pennsylvania’s Entrepreneur of the Year for a construction-related business that he founded.
