Rosendin Electric Jumps to Number 10 On ENR’s Annual List of Top 600 Specialty Contractors
One of the largest privately held electrical contractors moves up on ENR’s Top 600 list and ranks number three among nation’s electrical contractors.
Rosendin Electric has announced that it has been ranked number 10 on the Top 600 list of specialty contractors compiled annually by Engineering News-Record (ENR). The company also moved up to number three among the nation’s electrical contractors.
With revenues surpassing $1 billion, Rosendin Electric climbed from number 15 to number 10 among all specialty contractors, while booking nearly $1.3 billion in new business in 2014. The company also moved from number 5 to number 3 among specialty electrical contractors with an increase in earnings of 28%. Rosendin Electric rose considerably in the standings in both categories with continued growth in traditional market segments coupled with emergence as a market leader in both the Mid-Atlantic and Hawaii.
“Our continued growth and success in opening new markets is the result of outstanding teamwork and commitment to superior service and innovation,” said Tom Sorley, Chairman and CEO of Rosendin Electric. “We are now taking the lead in commercial solar and wind power construction, data center construction, transportation, and specialty electric services in multiple areas. We use the latest technology, both behind the scenes in design and prefabrication, and in the field with mobile supply tracking and job site management tools. Improving our rankings in ENR’s Top 600 list is not only gratifying, it provides independent validation that we are taking the lead in specialty electrical construction.”
