QTS Realty Trust has announced that Stephen Douglas has joined the company as vice president – Investor Relations and Strategic Planning. Douglas reports to Jeff Berson, chief investment officer.

Douglas joins QTS with more than 10 years of financial services industry experience, including nine years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he served as a vice president on the US Telecom Services and REIT equity research teams. Douglas began his career as an analyst with Duff & Phelps, LLC in New York.

“Stephen’s strong background and deep knowledge of data center REITs, coupled with his analytics and valuation expertise will help us continue to meet the needs of our shareholders and investor community,” said Berson.

Douglas is a cum laude graduate of the University of Richmond’s E. Claiborne Robins School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance. He was a Division I scholarship member of the varsity soccer team throughout college.

“I am thrilled to be joining the QTS family,” said Douglas. “I have worked in the data center sector for several years and QTS’ differentiated platform and unique approach to the industry made it the logical next step for me.”

Douglas is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and a CFA charterholder.
