TelecityGroup Opens New 9.6 MW Data Centre In Amsterdam
New Amsterdam facility features new design-led innovations to maximize energy efficiency and to support city’s flourishing digital economy.
TelecityGroup has announced the opening of its sixth data centre in Amsterdam, AMS 6. The new 6,000 square metre facility will provide 9.6 megawatts (MW) of new customer capacity in one of Europe’s foremost digital hubs and an epicentre of international connectivity. Built with smart design techniques to maximize energy efficiency, AMS 6 will have a design Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.20 from launch.
Demand for colocation data centre services in Amsterdam continues to outperform other European regions. TelecityGroup’s new AMS 6 facility has been designed and built to provide the customer capacity required to support the continued growth of one of Europe’s premier digital hubs.
