NYI's New York And New Jersey Facilities Support DE-CIX Ecosystem
The move enables NYI clients to directly peer with over 90 carriers, ISPs, and content providers across the globe.
NYI has announced the availability of the DE-CIX Internet exchange (IX) at both its 100 William Street facility in New York City and its 999 Frontier facility in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The partnership enables NYI clients the ability to peer with DE-CIX New York's community of over 90 networks via a cross-connect.
DE-CIX New York, a data center and carrier-neutral Internet exchange, is the fastest-growing exchange in New York and New Jersey, adding more than 90 networks since opening its doors last year. The exchange offers broad and neutral connectivity with over 100 access points throughout the city. In addition to the partnership, Phillip Koblence, chief operating officer for NYI, has been named a member of the Customer Advisory Board of DE-CIX North America (CAB). The members of the CAB collectively represent the interests of DE-CIX North America customers, providing essential market information and intelligence and acting as the key link between DE-CIX and its North American customers.
