Cosentry has announced the company has expanded several of its Midwestern data center facilities. Totaling nearly 32,000 sq ft of new colocation space, these expansions enable the company to add over 1,000 additional server cabinets to meet the growing market demand for hosted data and cloud services.
Leveraging nine interconnected facilities throughout the Midwest for production and out-of-region disaster recovery locations, the company empowers customers to confidently outsource high-density IT infrastructure loads while meeting and surpassing their requirements for availability, security, compliance, and scalability. New data center expansion includes:
- Milwaukee, WI - Burnham Data Center, 14,000 sq ft (under construction)
- Lenexa, KS - Lenexa Data Center, 7,000 sq ft (complete)
- Omaha, NE - Bellevue Data Center, 10,000 sq ft (complete)
"Many organizations throughout the Midwest are seeking data center services to augment their aging, in-house facilities or have increased disaster recovery, IT security and compliance needs that will be hard to fulfill with existing IT staff," explains Brad Hokamp, Cosentry's CEO. "These same organizations also realize it is more cost effective to outsource their data center requirements vs. investing their own CAPEX — which typically has a 10 to 15 year payback period. Cosentry continues to meet these needs, ultimately becoming our customers' complete IT infrastructure partner for all outsourcing requirements."
In addition, Cosentry assists customers with data center consulting and design services, data center migrations, and full deployments of cabinets and cabling. The company continues to invest in their suite of IT infrastructure outsourcing solutions, including expanded cloud capabilities, managed security and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS).
