Generac Industrial Power features an expansive portfolio of power products, ranging from bi-fuel generators to paralleling technologies to transfer switches. These products, and more, will be featured on the 2015 Power Trip Experience Tour traveling throughout North America.

The tour features a 53-foot fully interactive trailer that educates consulting-specifying engineers, electrical contractors and facility managers about industrial power solutions. Over 12 previous tours, it has traveled more than 1 million miles and welcomed more than 22,000 engineers.

Generac’s Modular Power Systems (MPS) will highlight this year’s tour. MPS is an integrated approach to generator paralleling that is cost competitive with large individual generators and traditional paralleling systems. It also offers redundancy, flexibility and scalability advantages.

The trailer will stop at Generac Industrial Power Distributors throughout the year. Visit the website for exact dates, times and locations for each stop.

The Power Trip Experience features the most innovative back-up power solutions and technologies, including:

  • Two fully functioning diesel generators featuring MPS paralleling technologies
  • A full-size model of a Generac 600 kW Bi-Fuel generator, which is the industry’s only bi-fuel generator that is EPA-compliant from the factory
  • A full line of transfer switches that meet varying needs, from light industrial applications to demanding critical installations

“This tour is an ideal opportunity for consulting-specifying engineers, electrical contractors and facility managers to gain hands-on exposure to Generac’s back-up power solutions,” said Kyle Raabe, vice president of industrial sales for Generac. “By demonstrating how our products and solutions support a variety of applications, we give them confidence in choosing Generac.”

Classroom training is provided in a 16-seat theater. Visitors can participate in the Generac Professional Development Seminar Series (PDSS), accredited by the Milwaukee School of Engineering, to earn CEUs or PDHs.
