Windstream Communications Executes Agreement With Allied Fiber

Allied Fiber has announced that Windstream has executed an Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) agreement and lease for dark fiber and neutral colocation to expand its network between Miami and Jacksonville.
This agreement is a part of Windstream's continuing focus on the construction of its long haul optical network, called WINterstate. This long haul, 100G "express" network offers other carriers and large enterprise customers low latency, high bandwidth network solutions.
