Axiom Fiber Networks has announced it has set up Point of Presence (PoP) with Telx. Axiom Fiber will have a presence at all three of Telx's New York City facilities, including 60 Hudson, 111 8th Avenue, and 32 Avenue of Americas.

Telx customers can now leverage Axiom Fiber's dark fiber to gain connectivity to any of the 600+ customers within Telx's New York City ecosystem. The expansion into the three data centers is part of Axiom Fiber's plan to connect to major carrier hotels and further expand the company's offerings to global service providers needing connectivity in the Manhattan footprint.

"We are pleased to offer Telx's carrier and enterprise customers fiber diversity through our reliable and purpose-built fiber network," states Felipe Alvarez, chief executive officer of Axiom Fiber Networks. "Providing our clients with simple and swift connection options is in line with our core values of speed, simplicity and confidence."

"Telx recently expanded its New York City footprint," comments Chris Downie, CEO of Telx. "As a result, dark fiber providers like Axiom are enabling greater access to Telx's robust connectivity options in the New York City market. Today we have 600+ network providers available in our three New York City facilities: 60 Hudson, 111 8th Avenue & 32 Avenue of the Americas, and Axiom makes it possible to reach all of these connections from a single customer deployment, regardless of the originating Telx NYC facility."
