Matt Gleason Named Mission Critical Facility Manager Of The Year
Gleason will be honored at the Mission Critical Data Center and Computing Conference & Expo on June 15-16 in New York.
Matt Gleason, general manager for CoreSite’s New York Market, was named Mission Critical’s Facility Manager of the Year. He will be honored during the Mission Critical Data Center and Computing Conference & Expo, which will be held June 15-16, 2015 in New York at the Times Square Marriott. Gleason will be presented his award during a special reception sponsored by Panduit at 6 p.m. on June 16, 2015.
Gleason is responsible for the overall business performance and operation of CoreSite’s NY1 and NY2 facilities. In his five years at CoreSite, he has also held the position of vice president of facilities, and was responsible for all electrical, mechanical, and building systems associated with CoreSite’s national data center portfolio. Prior to CoreSite, Gleason served as the senior technical manager at Switch and Data, overseeing the company’s infrastructure maintenance and uptime programs. He was also a noncommissioned officer in the U.S. Navy and honor graduate of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, operating and maintaining nuclear power plants on the USS Connecticut, a fast attack submarine.
