Headquartered in Denver, NewCloud Networks specializes in providing hybrid cloud, cloud backup, cloud disaster recovery (DRaaS), desktops as a service (DaaS) and cloud hosted PBX to its 2,500+ customers across the United States. NewCloud provides cost-effective, high-performance cloud solutions that enable mid-market companies to better compete against market-share leaders. In addition, NewCloud serves compliance-sensitive organizations such as public companies, healthcare, financial services, and legal services with its HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SSAE/SOC-compliant cloud solutions.
NewCloud selected Telx's NYC1 facility to further optimize its ultra-low-latency national cloud network. NewCloud cited the attractiveness of NYC1, part of Telx's three densely interconnected NYC data centers with 600+ on-site carriers and Internet services as the primary reason for deployment.
The new cloud hub deployed at Telx's NYC1 data center will be NewCloud's first on the East Coast, serving as a critical element in the company's national operations and a cornerstone for cloud solutions delivery to Northeast customers.
"The addition of hybrid cloud specialist NewCloud Networks at NYC1 is important to the Telx national cloud ecosystem," said John Freimuth, General Manager of Cloud and IT Services for Telx. "Our customers are growing rapidly and demand the highest levels of agility, performance and security. NewCloud's compliant, best-of-breed infrastructure addresses these demands by providing direct connect access via seamless private network extension to fully managed backup and disaster recovery services, cloud desktops services, and on-demand compute and storage resources."
"As a provider of custom cloud solutions positioned on value, selecting the right data center for every cloud hub is critical," said Sam V. Kumar, NewCloud Networks founder and president. "Customers choose NewCloud for 100% uptime, high-performance, secure and compliant cloud solutions at costs competitive to big-name commodity clouds. After conducting months of intensive research on the New York Metro colocation market, we selected Telx NYC1 at 60 Hudson Street for this key relay point in our ultra-low-latency national cloud network."
