Electronic Environments Corporation (EEC) has announced the hire of industry veteran Ed Meier as vice president of strategic solutions. Meier’s engagement marks the fifth critical appointment made at EEC since July, 2014.

In his new position, Meier will be responsible for developing business within EEC’s Mission-Critical Facility Services through revenue generation, new account development, and key account management, alongside development of broad-range services and solutions. Previously, he served as director of managed services with Schneider Electric where he was responsible for driving growth and profitability while ensuring service excellence.

 Prior to Schneider, Meier served as vice president of service operations for Lee Technologies, where he led teams in managed services, technical operations, and facility operations as well as the development and management of the company’s national operations center. He attended the Columbia Technical Institute, George Mason University School of Management and Clemson University. Leveraging more than 30 years of experience within the mission critical / HVAC industry, Meier brings expertise and proven success to the new role and will assist EEC in the company’s attainment of strategic business goals.
