The company has deployed Comcast Business Ethernet, a new fiber-optic network designed to create more efficient, scalable options for customers.
Comcast Business has announced that it has established point-of-presence within three key vXchnge data centers. vXchnge, a carrier-neutral colocation services provider, will now have Comcast Business Ethernet to promote and facilitate profitable exchanges between customers and service providers. With high-density, carrier-neutral infrastructures in eight critical markets, growing to 15 over the next year, vXchnge is expanding its presence across the country to address the localization issues cloud and service providers are currently facing.
To accommodate the growing needs of their customer base and provide a broader network, vXchnge and Comcast Business have established cross-connections in their Santa Clara, California, and Secaucus, New Jersey facilities. A third deployment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will be completed in mid-2015. vXchnge has worked with Comcast Business to deploy its fiber network directly into these locations, allowing customers access to Comcast's network and suite of reliable, secure and high-performance Ethernet services. vXchnge facilities currently serve a range of businesses from small-scale start-ups to large corporations in technology, financial services and healthcare, among other industries.
