The DoE will hold the Data Center Energy Practitioner program at the Data Center World conference in Las Vegas on April 19-23, 2015. The program is split into two programs:

  • The Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) - Generalist – one day
  • The Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) - Specialists – two day

The U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) has partnered with the data center industry to develop a process leading to practitioners qualified to evaluate the energy status and efficiency opportunities in data centers.

The program has been developed for individuals wishing to gain a comprehensive understanding of the US DOE energy assessment process and will give them the skills needed to perform accurate energy assessments in data centers. The objective is to accelerate energy savings in the dynamic and energy-intensive marketplace of data centers.
