Cosentry Named Finalist For Two DatacenterDynamics Awards
Midwest provider of data center services recognized for innovation and green initiatives.
Cosentry has announced the company has been awarded “Finalist” status for two DatacenterDynamics North American awards within the “Green Data Center” and the “Innovation in the Medium Data Center” categories. More specifically, the company was highlighted for its dedication to supporting green initiatives and the efficiency of its mid-sized data center.
Operating nine data centers across five mid-western markets, Cosentry’s services empower companies to handle the high-density IT loads of today’s infrastructures while meeting and surpassing security, availability and scalability requirements. The company’s Omaha-Midlands site is the first LEED Gold Certified data center in the state, one of 21 nationwide — ranking among the Top 10 percent in the country for energy efficiency. The data center includes raised floors, cabinets, economizer, an Ecaro Fire suppression system — as well as redundant cooling, power, connectivity and 24/7 monitoring and support.
