Compass Datacenters has been selected as a finalist for Red Herring's Top 100 Global awards for the second straight year. These awards recognize private technology companies from around the world that show great promise for becoming the next generation of industry leaders.

The Red Herring editorial team selected the companies demonstrating the most innovative technologies and business models originating from over 1,000 companies from more than 40 nations. These companies, representing past Red Herring Asia, Europe and North America awards, are judged on a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics, including but not limited to, technology innovation, financial performance, growth criterion, management's execution standards, potential globalization of the strategy, and market share improvement. Red Herring has conducted this awards program since 1995, and the companies who have been named finalists and winners have a strong track record of success and growth that affirm Red Herring's eye for emerging companies.

"This selection of Compass by the Red Herring awards committee is a great honor, especially given their track record of identifying emerging companies that go on to great success," said Chris Crosby, CEO of Compass Datacenters. "It is great to see Red Herring recognize a data center company like Compass because it shines a spotlight on the importance of data center facilities as fundamental infrastructure for today's worldwide economy. It also recognizes the tremendous pace of innovation that is happening in the data center field, leading to data center facilities that are dramatically more efficient, faster to build, more reliable and future-proofed to support the future needs of customers."
