Cost-effective alternative to a full-sized cabinet is designed for smaller deployments, hybrid cloud applications and “first time” colocation customers.
365 Data Centershas announced the availability of Compact Cabinets across its footprint of 17 U.S. data centers. Compact Cabinets provide a cost-effective entry point for businesses looking to get started with colocation and for existing customers who want to incrementally expand or reduce their data center deployments. The new offering continues the company’s mission to make colocation more accessible, delivering increased choice and flexibility by providing another option for clients seeking the security and reliability benefits of local data center colocation in a hybrid cloud environment.
Compact Cabinets, about one-third the size of standard cabinets, are an ideal option for small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs), systems integrators, and managed service providers (MSPs) that do not need a full-sized cabinet. In September of this year, 365 Data Centers introduced 365 Cloud Storage, an on-demand cloud storage-as-a-service available locally in all of its data centers. Customers that use 365’s cloud storage reduce their need for colocation space by offloading storage infrastructure management to 365. 365 Data Centers also offers standard cabinets and custom cages or suites for clients who need them.
