365 Data Centers has announced that the company will host the quarterly meeting of the Association for Computer Operations Management (AFCOM) Midlantic chapter at the company's state-of-the-art data center facility in downtown Philadelphia. The meeting is set for Friday, October 10, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The event will provide AFCOM members and others in attendance the chance to network with data center professionals, tour a premier data center facility and engage in discussions with local tech luminaries. It will be held on Friday, October 10, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. EDT at 365 Data Centers' Philadelphia facility that is conveniently located at 3701 Market Street, Philadelphia.
The event will feature presentations and discussions by data center luminaries, including Keao Caindec, CMO at 365 Data Centers, who will speak about the convergence of colocation and cloud, the evolving role of data centers in hybrid cloud environments, and cloud-based storage. In addition, there will be a presentation on Data Center Optics by Lisa Huff, CDCP, principal analyst at Discerning Analytics.
