CeBIT has joined forces with DatacenterDynamics to create the world’s largest truly international data centre event at CeBIT in Hanover between March 16-20th 2015.

Themed “The Business of Data Centres”, the conference programme will run over 5 days, and will feature a host of internationally renowned subject matter experts. The content will focus on helping IT professionals better understand the role of the modern datacentre as the ultimate business enabler and home to “the Cloud” in all its forms. The conference programme will explore not only how modern datacentres are designed, built and operated, but also how organisations should select data centre and cloud infrastructure partners for their ever increasing international growth requirements. The 2015 conference programme is split into 4 distinct tracks:

  1. Design + Strategy – Focused on the issues faced by senior decision makers responsible for the organisational strategy and design of on-premise data centres.
  2.  IT + Networks – Focused on helping senior strategists understand the implications of IT and Network transformation on data center design and architecture.
  3.  Critical Environment – Focused on the issues faced by professionals who manage the performance, efficiency and resilience of the critical environment.
  4. Sourcing>Delivery – Focused on helping senior IT professionals make effective global IT infrastructure sourcing decisions.

The Expo, housed in over 12,000 square meters — the largest ever organised - will mirror the diversity of the conference content, hosting the entire eco-system of product and solution vendors to the market. The organisers are pleased to already have significant commitment from the largest brands in the data centre industry.

This is the first joint venture of its kind that CeBIT has entered into in its 28-year history. Oliver Frese, member of the board of CeBIT-Organiser Deutsche Messe AG, said “We are excited to be working with DCD, which heralds a new age of brand collaboration in the B2B events arena. By combining forces we can deliver IT professionals much more targeted learning and networking opportunities”.

George Rockett, founder of the DatacenterDynamics event series, added, “We are honoured to be working with such a legendary event as CeBIT. The scale of both the audience and the venue will allow us to introduce some exciting new conference formats, and explore new topics.”
