Methode Electronics – Data Solutions Group, a division of Methode Electronics, Inc., has been named one of four finalists in the Corporate Innovation category of the 14th annual Tech Titans Awards, presented by the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC).

The annual competition recognizes outstanding technology companies and individuals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that have made significant contributions, both locally and to the greater technology industry. Judging criteria for the Corporate Innovation category is based on a number of key factors, including outstanding innovation and unique accomplishments as a result of recent or potential breakthrough technologies.

”We took a revolutionary approach to Data Center Infrastructure Management, or DCIM, when we integrated data center monitoring tools with DCIM analytics software. Now stakeholders are able to better allocate resources across their data centers,” said Tim Hazzard, president of Methode Electronics – Data Solutions Group.  “This combined with the launch of the first high-density, lithium-ion UPS designed to last longer and deliver more power will help reduce the infrastructure and equipment risks associated with data center operations.”

“We believe the vision of tomorrow’s data centers is emerging today. We’re excited to help shape the future of Data Center Infrastructure Management and to be recognized in this category by the MTBC,” said Hazzard.

The annual MTBC Innovators Finalist Luncheon will be held Friday, Aug. 8, at the Renaissance Hotel Dallas. Each company will make a short presentation showcasing its achievements and illustrate why it has been selected as a 2014 finalist. Winners from each category will be announced at the Tech Titans Awards Gala, Friday, Aug. 22 at the Hotel InterContinental in Addison. More information is available at www.techtitans.org.
