The company has selected WiredRE as its data center advisor.
Lasercharm has acquired, and received planning approval for an approximately 700,000 sq ft data center development near Cambridge, UK. The 40 acre site, known as Camro Data Center Park, is just north of Cambridge, the UK’s hub for high-tech business known as “Silicon Fen.” The site features its own energy center, open access diverse fiber routes to the US and Europe, and multiple options for scalable and graduated occupancy via modular data center designs. Wired Real Estate Group Inc. (“WiredRE”), the nation’s leading independent cloud, colocation, and data center advisory firm, has been selected by Camro as data center advisor.
“Camro is a step ahead of what has been available in this sector, with its own power sources and diversity of fiber. However, what makes this site truly exceptional is its proximity to the UK’s leading scientific and technological center of Cambridge,” said Tim Gwyn-Jones, CEO of Lasercharm.
