Purkay Labs has announced that its founder and CEO, Indra Purkayastha, will be a featured panelist in a discussion centered around data center cooling at the AFCOM Symposium Boston, on June 18th, 2014.

The panel discussion, titled, "4A – Cooling! What’s All the Heat About?" is scheduled for June 18th from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Indra Purkayastha will be exploring topics such as OEMs, ASHRAE TC9.9, internal budget constraints, new green technologies, and how the modern data center can make sense of the multitude of cooling solutions available today. A former GE and iRobot executive, Mr. Purkayastha brings nearly 40 years of experience in product development to his work in temperature and humidity monitors for mission critical facilities.

Mr. Purkayastha will join four other experts in the field, including representatives from Integrated Design Group, IBM Global Engineering and Construction, Siemens, and Mestex during the panel discussion. The inaugural AFCOM Symposium Boston will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.

“I look forward to joining such a knowledgeable panel and sharing Purkay Labs’ own experiences in the area of data center cooling,” said Mr. Purkayastha. “The Symposium is giving local endusers and experienced service-providers, such as Purkay, the chance to engage in conversations about their shared challenges and paths to success.”

Purkay Labs’ recently released the three-step “Optimize Your Data Center” package, which helps users to quickly pinpoint, diagnose and fix airflow issues on a rack-by-rack basis with two AUDIT-BUDDY™ systems.
