Spread Networks Provides 300 Gbps Fiber Optic Backbone For Sunesys
The move will bring high-bandwidth connectivity to Sunesys’ health care, carrier, education, and business enterprise clients on its telecommunications network.
Spread Networks announced that it has entered into an agreement with Sunesys to provide a 300 gigabit per second fiber optic backbone between datacenters in Chicago, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Spread Network’s will power a portion of Sunesys’ recently announced lit services product expansion and new state-of-the-art data center transport network, “SunTran”, with its world class high bandwidth connectivity. Spread Networks offers a suite of connectivity solutions for carrier and enterprise customers of all kinds on its diverse and secure fiber optic network.
The SunTran network provides Ethernet, private wavelength and IP services in each of Sunesys’ regional markets to the healthcare, carrier, education and enterprise business sectors. The state-of-the-art SunTran data center network also provides high-speed transport to over 60 key data center locations across the United States, connecting Sunesys’ regional networks.
