ROOT Data Center Inc. has announced that it has started construction on its next generation, Tier 3 colocation facility in Montreal, Canada. Significant customer demand has required ROOT to accelerate their build schedule. Customers will now have a clean data center floor space to start staging equipment in as early as mid-June 2014. Long lead time equipment was ordered in early to mid-April. Thanks to partnerships with equipment manufacturers and suppliers, such as Eaton, Kyoto Cooling, DL Custom, Gal Power and others, equipment will start arriving on site in mid-May.

"We are encouraged by the stronger than expected customer demand coming from the US and other markets across Canada and overseas. Our value proposition seems to be resonating well with a large array of customers and our construction team and suppliers have been extremely supportive in helping us accelerate our build timelines" Said CEO Jason van Gaal.
