IBM and Novitex Enterprise Solutions have announced that they have signed an estimated $10-million agreement for IBM to provide cloud-based Infrastructure and Security services leveraging SoftLayer's open, scalable and secure infrastructure to support Novitex's industry leading document outsourcing solutions.

Novitex, the provider of the Integrated Document Life Cycle™ (IDLC™) end-to-end service solutions, required a flexible, scalable solution to support its rapid growth and expanding offerings, while simultaneously consolidating a distributed set of IT environments in a seamless, singular infrastructure. Novitex also wanted to ensure data security, privacy and compliance for their Fortune 500 clients in a world of increasing security threats.

Novitex required a strong partner who would ensure the company's IT environment was compliant with current and emerging regulatory standards while still being scalable and flexible.
