ViaWest has announced the appointment of Tom Myers as its regional vice president and general manager of Texas. In this role, Tom will lead ViaWest’s growth in the Texas region working closely with customers and partners to provide the very best in infrastructure-as-a-service solutions to meet their changing IT requirements.
With a passion for excellence, coupled with an enthusiastic approach to business, Tom will galvanize ViaWest’s strong position in the marketplace. ViaWest has a thriving business in Texas and the surrounding area and continues to see growth across a broad array of industry verticals in the region. IT complexity, coupled with stringent requirements around compliance and availability, is driving demand for ViaWest’s infrastructure and cloud offerings.

Prior to joining ViaWest, Myers was senior director for the Level 3 Communications Large Enterprise Segment business. He was responsible for sales, client services and sales support for Fortune 1000 companies. Before that, he spent over six years driving enterprise sales for Verizon Business.
