Schneider Electric Introduces Strategic Data Center Operation Services Offerings
The service is designed to simplify and optimize data center systems.
Schneider Electric has announced the availability of three robust data center Operation Services offerings designed to optimize and simplify data center operations throughout each step of the data center life cycle. Leveraging expertise from the Data Center Lifecycle Services portfolio, Vendor Management, Managed Maintenance and Facility Operations are a group of strategic, vendor-agnostic services that will use trained specialists to ensure critical facilities meet their design objectives, allowing managers to avoid costly downtime and focus on core business goals.
“Once thought of as necessary but expensive cost centers, data centers are now in a position to drive business results and help companies gain a competitive advantage. However, despite increasing system intelligence and automation capabilities, every data center today still needs to rely on effective operation, maintenance, and management by well-trained, organized people,” said David Gentry, vice president, Data Center Services, Schneider Electric. “Schneider Electric’s Operation Services has extensive experience in managing mission-critical facilities around the globe, which is becoming increasingly important as data center managers look to increase performance, reliability and efficiency while minimizing risk, and eliminating the complexities of day-to-day operations.”
