Alliance Architects Completes Architectural Design Services For Databank
The facility is designed as a premium multi-tenant, collocation data center facility.
Thomas M. Maxwell, principal of Alliance Architects, Inc. has announced the recent completion of shell and interior design services for DataBank. The new facility is in the Northeast Metroplex suburb of Richardson, TX. The area is well known as a major technology corridor and boasts a number of the prominent companies. Located within Digital Realty’s Dallas Data Center Park Campus, the building is one of the very few multi-tenant, top-tier colocation data center facilities in the state. While the majority of these types of facilities are designed from converted warehouses or industrial space, the DataBank facility was designed and built specifically for use as a data center. Modeled after DataBank’s original facility, which was formerly the Federal Reserve Bank Building, the space offers the same look and feel of the company’s Downtown Dallas data center.
The new facility accommodates 50,000+ sq ft of technical space, including approximately 41,000+ square feet of data hall dedicated to customer hardware. Boasting true 2N power design, the facility offers custom high-density power delivery architecture, and access to top network providers.
